Choose your frameworks

Enable a compliance framework such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF or Essential Eight, bring your own standard as a custom framework, or disable one you no longer track.

Enable a framework

  1. Open Compliance › Frameworks.
  2. In the catalogue, choose a framework.
  3. Select Enable. Some frameworks first ask you to choose a scope or acknowledge licence terms. The number of frameworks you can have enabled depends on your plan; see pricing.

The framework appears in your enabled list. On Compliance › Assessments, select Open assessment to begin scoring.

Bring your own standard

For a standard that is not in the catalogue, add a custom framework.

  1. On Compliance › Frameworks, select Create or Import Framework.
  2. Download the example format and copy the ready-made prompt. Give both, with your standard, to your AI assistant and ask for one JSON file.
  3. Load the file in the import box, check the requirements it loads, tick the licence acknowledgement and select Create framework.

To build one without a file, select Start from NIST CSF or Start from the worked sample on the Create Custom Framework page. The framework then joins the catalogue; select Enable on it as above.

A custom framework you created can be removed with Delete on its catalogue card once it is disabled and has no assessments.

Disable a framework

On Compliance › Frameworks, select the × on the framework in your enabled list, then confirm Disable.
