Assets: Networks, Identities, Apps, Devices and Data, the inventory every other module ties back to.
Assets holds the inventory that scanning, cloud and SaaS connectors and manual entry all build up, split into Networks, Identities, Apps, Devices and Data. Every finding is recorded against one of them.
Typical workflow
Browse the inventory
Open a group, Devices say, for its list, or click into an asset from a finding elsewhere. An asset page shows what's known about it and anything currently affecting it.
Retire an asset that's no longer relevant
When a device is decommissioned or an identity retired, remove or exclude it here.
Easy to miss
It doesn't drop out of the inventory on its own. It stays, findings and all, until you retire or exclude it explicitly, and can keep showing outdated software as if it still mattered.
