Reports
Generate an executive overview, vulnerability, compliance, configuration or assessment report from your current data, then review, approve and export it.
- Who can do this: Contributor · Admin
- In the app: Governance › Reports
- 10 min
The report centre holds your generated documents. Open it from Governance › Reports; Engagements › Reports opens the same centre filtered to Assessment reports.
Choose a report kind
Select New report and pick a kind. Paid plans include the Vulnerability, Configuration and Assessment kinds; see pricing.
| Kind | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Executive overview | A board-level summary of findings, compliance, cloud configuration and remediation progress. Needs AI credits available. |
| Vulnerability | Your findings, written up as a document. |
| Compliance | Your compliance position against the frameworks you have enabled. |
| Configuration | Cloud configuration check results and how they are trending. |
| Assessment | A penetration test report for one engagement, created from Engagements. |
Generate a report
Select New report and choose a kind. The report opens as a draft filled from your current data, on the Preview tab; change its title on the Content tab. A report is a snapshot: generate it again to see newer data.
Compliance reports
Enable a framework first; see your frameworks. Then select New report and choose Compliance. Read the report before you share it.
Edit a report and use templates
Open the report and edit it as you would a policy. To reuse an arrangement, select Save as template; to start from one, select Apply template, which replaces the report's current sections and blocks. Select Save.
Review and approve a report
- Draft
- Submit for reviewIn review back to Draft: Send back to draftIn review
- ApproveApproved back to In review: Reopen for reviewApproved
- Select Submit for review. Approve marks the report approved, and Reopen for review makes an approved report editable again.
- While the report is a draft or in review, select Checkpoint to save the content as it stands. The Versions tab compares a snapshot with the current content and can restore it.
Delete a report
Open the report, select the bin icon beside Save, then Delete. Reopen an approved report for review first.
Export a report
| Report kind | How to export |
|---|---|
| Executive overview, Vulnerability, Compliance, Configuration | Select Download PDF. Your browser's print dialog opens: set the destination to Save as PDF and turn off headers and footers. |
| Assessment | Select Export, then PDF or Word (.docx) for a file built for you, or Print… for the browser route above. |

Governance
Governance is where you write and approve security policies, start from built-in starter policies, and keep the reusable Sections that policies and reports are built from.
Engagements
Run a penetration test as an engagement: set its scope, attach findings, then generate a client-ready report.
